He made his debut with Rayados Monterrey in the Apertura 2017 Tournament after completing his training process in the Club's Youth Academy from the U-15 category.
From an early age he showed great soccer skills and that led him to achieve a CONCACAF Champions League, a Liga BBVA MX and two Copa MX.
In his quest to grow as a player, Jonathan played for teams such as Necaxa, Queretaro and Minnesota, where he gained personal and soccer experience.
In the Clausura 2022 he returned to the Institution to be part of Raya2 Expansion, where he once again wore the Rayados’ colors.
In the Apertura 2023 he was considered by Fernando Ortiz to be part of the First Team and continue making history with Monterrey.
