Lucas’ international career, along with the hierarchy, talent, and competitiveness he displays on the field, has earned him recognition in the football world in both Europe and South America, making him one of the most important signings in Mexican football.
At 30 years old, Lucas has won three major titles in his career: two Europa League championships with Sevilla and one Argentine league title with River Plate. He has played 477 matches in European football and scored 89 goals.
He joined AS Monaco in France in 2012 and later played for teams such as Olympique de Marseille, Genoa, and AC Milan.
In 2019, Lucas moved to Sevilla, Spain, where he was teammates with Oliver Torres, Jesús "Tecatito" Corona and Sergio Ramos, whom now play for Monterrey.
He has been part of Argentina’s National Team since the youth categories, beginning his journey with the U-15 team, which competed in the 2009 South American Championship.
