WELCOME TO RAYADOS, LUIS REYES!

29 de December de 2024. 2:02 pm.

Rayados de Monterrey aim to be protagonists in 2025, which is why they announce the signing of player Luis Reyes.

The Mexican defender joins Monterrey to compete in the Clausura and Apertura 2025 Tournaments, the CONCACAF Champions Cup, the Leagues Cup 2025, and the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in its new format.

Luis emerged from the Atlas Youth Academy, where he debuted in the First Division in 2016, a team with which he played 183 Liga BBVA MX matches, 10 Copa MX matches, 6 Leagues Cup matches, and 5 Campeón de Campeones matches.

After a successful first stint with Atlas, Reyes joined Club América in Apertura 2018, where he won the championships in the Apertura 2018 Tournament, Campeón de Campeones in 2018-19, and the Copa MX of Clausura 2019.

Luis had a brief spell with Atlético de San Luis in the 2019-20 season and returned to Club América.

A year later, he returned to Atlas and six months later became a key player in the squad that won the Liga BBVA MX back-to-back championships in the 2021-2022 season.

Thanks to his good performances with the red-and-black team, Luis Reyes was called up to be part of the Mexican National Team in 2017.

"Hueso," as he is nicknamed, has played 9 matches with the national team, including 2 Confederations Cup matches, where Mexico finished in fourth place; 2 Gold Cup matches, achieving third place in the competition; and 2 World Cup qualifiers for Russia 2018.

Luis Reyes joins Rayados to strengthen the team and work towards the goals of the competitions they will participate in.

Welcome, Luis Reyes!
