Fidel Ambriz is a new reinforcement for Rayados del Monterrey!

In order to always have a strengthened squad to achieve the highest sporting objectives, Club de Futbol Monterrey has signed national team player Fidel Ambriz as a new player for the Rayados.

Fidel, at 21 years of age, is a young Mexican player with experience in La Liga, National Teams, international competitions and a promising future.

The midfielder, who arrives on a permanent transfer to Rayados and with a contract until 2029, made his debut for Club Leon at the age of 16, being the second youngest player to do so with the Emerald squad.

Since his debut in 2017, Ambriz has played 110 matches as a professional, of which 92 are in Liga BBVA MX, 11 in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, six in the Leagues Cup and one in the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023.

The young Mexican has scored 14 goals in his professional career and has been captain of the different teams in which he has participated.

Fidel achieved with Leon the championships of the Liga BBVA MX in the Apertura 2021 Tournament, the CONCACAF Champions Cup in 2023 and the Leagues Cup in 2021.

He was named youth revelation and part of the ideal eleven of the CONCACAF Champions Cup in 2023.

Thanks to his good performance and soccer skills, Fidel has been considered to participate with the Mexican National Team from the U-19, U-20, U-23 and Senior National Teams.

He won the gold medal with the U-20 team in the Revelations Cup 2021 and 2022, and with the U-23 team in the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023, as well as the bronze medal in the Pan American Games Viña del Mar 2023.

He was captain of the Mexican U-23 National Team that participated in June 2024 in the Maurice Ravello Tournament, formerly known as Esperanzas de Toulon, in France.

In July 2024, he received his first call-up to the Mexican Senior National Team for friendly matches in preparation for the Copa America, where he made his debut in a 1-0 win over Bolivia.

Fidel arrives at Rayados motivated to contribute to Rayados achieving its maximum sporting objectives.
