WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE FANS AND IN A DRAMATIC FINISH, RAYADAS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE LIGA BBVA MX FEMENIL!

As if it were a movie script and with the tireless support of the fans, the Monterrey team tied the aggregate in the last minute of stoppage time.

Monterrey defeated the Aguilas of America in a penalty shootout at Estadio BBVA, which made its presence felt from the very first minute.

The team from Monterrey started the match with intensity. America opened the scoring in the first few minutes, but Jermaine Seoposenwe's powerful shot tied the game.

As the match was winding down, the referee flagged a handball inside the box after reviewing the VAR. Rebeca Bernal scored perfectly to tie the aggregate and send the game to penalties, where the support of the fans and a great performance by Pamela Tajonar were fundamental to winning the title.

Just nine minutes into the match, Karol Bernal shot from outside the box, after a rebound from a corner kick, but the ball ended up in a goal kick.

Minutes later, Myra Delgadillo sent in a cross that Christina Burkenroad tried to finish, but the ball went wide. On a second play, Ana Lucia Martinez came close to scoring with a powerful shot.

Rebeca Bernal's shot at minute 77 went just wide of the post.

At 96', a corner kick was taken in favor of Rayadas. All 11 Monterrey players, including goalkeeper Pamela Tajonar, went to shoot.

Fatima Servin took the kick, Myra Delgadillo headed and the ball hit Andrea Pereira's hand.

After reviewing the play on the VAR, the referee awarded a penalty kick in favor of Rayadas.

In the fifth series, Valeria del Campo scored for Rayadas and, in the decisive penalty kick, Pamela Tajonar deflected Aylin Avilez's shot with her ankle for a 4-3 win in the shootout.
