Rayadas will seek the championship with the support of the "albiazul" fans!

Monterrey lost 1-0 to America in the first leg of the Final of the Clausura 2024 Tournament at the Azteca Stadium.

Monterrey looked for the win from the first minutes and generated more scoring opportunities, but it was the locals who managed to score and get the partial advantage.

Diana Garcia took a powerful shot in the 7th minute after a great play between Samantha Simental and Jermaine Seoposenwe, but the ball went over the goal.

At minute 25, Myra Delgadillo took a right-footed shot from the edge of the six-yard box, but the ball went just wide of goalkeeper Itzel Velasco's goal.

In the next play, Pamela Tajonar made a great save on a shot by Kiana Palacios and prevented the home side from scoring. Good save, Pame!

After an assist from Kimberly Rodriguez, Kiana Palacios opened the scoring at the Azteca Stadium.

In the second half, Rayadas maintained their attacking approach and continued to generate chances, but were unable to score.

Christina Burkenroad headed a free kick taken by Nicole Perez at minute
58, but the ball went just wide.

Minutes later, Pamela Tajonar was the hero with a spectacular save after Aylin Avilez's point-blank shot. Great save, Pamela!

Once again, Burkenroad headed in Rebeca Bernal's cross at minute 64, but Itzel Velasco sent a corner kick.

This Monday, May 27, at 8:00 p.m., Rayadas will seek to win the championship in the second leg at Estadio BBVA with the support of the Albiazul fans.
