Monterrey's Rayadas lost 1-0 to Juarez Femenil in Matchday 16 of the Clausura 2024 Tournament at the Estadio OlImpico Benito Juarez.

The team from Monterrey started the match pressing high and looking for the opponent's goal, however, it was the locals who opened the scoring.

In the 21st minute, Nicole Perez took a corner kick and Myra Delgadillo headed the ball wide of the goal.

Pamela Tajonar prevented a goal at 28', when she saved a difficult shot by Karume Abud. Great, Pamela!

Monica Rodriguez took a corner kick and Annia Mejia, a former Rayadas player, headed in to open the scoring.

In the second half, Rayadas looked to turn the score around, but were unsuccessful.

Fatima Servin took a free kick from the midfield at minute 58. Rebeca Bernal came close to finishing, but the ball ended up in the hands of goalkeeper Renta Masciarelli.

After Jermaine Seoposenwe deflected a ball and then made contact with an opponent at 67', referee Mauricio Eleazar sent off the Albiazul forward.

With this result, the albiazules move into third place in the overall standings with 29 points.

On Saturday, May 4, at 6:00 p.m., Rayadas will host Chivas of Guadalajara at Estadio BBVA to close the Clausura 2024 Regular Phase.
