As part of the training agreement between Club de Futbol Monterrey and North Carolina FC, the first player scouting session was held this Friday in the Raleigh, North Carolina region.
The objective of the agreement is to collaborate in the training of young players from both clubs, through international competition, the detection of talent in both countries and the projection of players selected through the Pro-Pathway between the two institutions.
The first scouting session was held at WakeMed Soccer Park, prior to the friendly match between Rayados and Atlético de San Luis.
North Carolina FC issued a call for applications to which some 100 players between the ages of 13 and 16 responded and were evaluated by scouts from both institutions.
Outstanding players from the Delaware Rayados Soccer Academy also participated in the scouting sessions, as part of the benefits of being an Official Rayados School.
All the young soccer players who participated in the talent detection event were invited to the Rayados game against Atletico de San Luis.
Remember that the Club has 26 Rayados Soccer Academies in the United States. In addition, it holds 6 Copa Rayados USA events each year, in which the Official Rayados Schools, teams from the Club's Youth Academies and teams from international clubs participate.
