After finishing as the top-ranked Mexican team in the Leagues Cup 2023, Rayados de Monterrey are ready for the 2024 edition of this international competition that brings together teams from Liga MX and MLS.

This morning, the Leagues Cup and Liga MX announced the groups and venues for the Group Stage matches.

Liga MX will share Group West 1 with Austin FC and Pumas UNAM, opponents they will face at the Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas.

Although Rayados have had preparation matches at the Texan stadium, this will be the first time they will face Austin FC.

This will be the fourth official international match between the Rayados and Pumas, having previously faced each other in an InterLiga match and two CONACAF Champions League matches.

The support of the Pumas fans will be essential, and a large number of Rayados Texans are expected to attend the matches.
