Monterrey and Tigres Femenil drew 0-0 in the first leg of the Clásico Regio Semifinal at Estadio BBVA.

The match began intensely with both teams looking for the opponent's goal.

Six minutes later, Karol Bernal sent in a cross and Christina Burkenroad headed the ball, but the feline goalkeeper Cecilia Santiago kept the ball.

In the second half, the team coached by Eva Espejo tried to open the scoring, however, they were unable to break the rival's net and everything will be defined in the second leg.

Samantha Simental, Rayadas' defender, received a red card at minute 51, after fighting with Tigres Femenil's Lizbeth Ovalle for the ball.

At minute 63, Jermaine Seoposenwe took advantage of a rebound after a free kick taken by Nicole Pérez, but the shot went over the opponent's goal.
