Rayados drew goalless with Querétaro, secured second place in the overall standings with 33 points, and will now prepare to go all out in the Playoffs of the Apertura 2023.

The match began with intensity, with both teams looking to open the scoring.

Querétaro had two dangerous chances in the first three minutes of the match through José Zúñiga, but failed to score.

César Garza tried his luck at minute 31 with a powerful shot from half distance, but goalkeeper Guillermo Allison kept the ball.

After a great cross by Joao Rojas at minute 37, Jesús "Tecatito" Corona headed the ball, but Querétaro’s goalkeeper reacted brilliantly and prevented the Rayados’ player from scoring.

In the second half, Fernando Ortíz's men sought to open the scoring and take the three points home.

Omar Govea came close to scoring with a mid-range shot at minute 51, but the rival goalkeeper made a great save and sent the ball to the corner.

The locals responded at minute 70, but Luis Cárdenas was the hero, making a double save on shots by Federico Lertora.

In the final stretch, Víctor López took a great shot, but goalkeeper Guillermo Allison deflected it wide. Rogelio Funes Mori tried the rebound, but again the goalkeeper prevented the goal.

Rayados closed the Regular Phase greatly, with 6 wins, 2 draws and a loss. They will now await the Play-In to find out their opponent in the Quarterfinals of the Apertura 2023.
