Rayadas defeated América Femenil 2-1 in Matchday 17 of the Apertura 2023 Tournament, and will now prepare to face the playoffs.
Rayadas started the match pushing hard, and Diana García and Myra Delgadillo put Monterrey up on the scoreboard in the first few minutes.

Taking advantage of a rebound by goalkeeper Itzel Velasco, Diana García stole the ball and shot from half distance to open the scoring.
After a foul by Mónica Rodríguez on Myra Delgadillo inside the box, the referee awarded a penalty kick to the Rayadas at minute 4.

Myra Delgadillo's right-footed shot from the penalty spot was a fine strike, giving Rayadas their second goal of the match.
América came close to Pamela Tajonar's goal with a shot by Katty Martínez at minute 24, but the ball went just wide of the goal.
Rayadas kept up the pressure and, despite chances from Myra Delgadillo and Carlee Giammona, they were unable to score again.
In the second half, the team coached by Eva Espejo kept up the intensity and looked to score, however, América Femenil scored a goal.
América came close to scoring at minute 59, after a header by Aurelie Kaci. The ball hit the post and then Pamela Tajonar finally prevented the visitors from scoring.
Nicole Pérez took a free kick from three-quarters of the field, but the ball went just wide of Itzel Velasco's goal. Close, "Nicky"!

With a powerful shot from outside the box, the América striker was able to score.
After this victory, Rayadas close the Regular Season of the tournament in fourth place in the overall standings with 38 points, and will now prepare to face the Playoffs.
