Rayados defeated Pumas de la UNAM 1-0 in Matchday 13, played at the Estadio Olímpico Universitario. 

The victory was achieved with a great effort by the team in a complicated field, and after forced changes of players due to blows or injuries during the game.

The match began with intensity. Rayados looked for the opponent's goal, and it was in stoppage time when Alfonso González opened the score at CU.

Esteban Andrada made a great ball recovery after a defensive error by Rayados at minute 5. César Huerta stole the ball and shot at goal, but the Rayados goalkeeper kept the ball. 

After a classy play by Jesús Gallardo on the left flank at minute 25, the Rayados player assisted to Alfonso González, who shot at goal, but the ball crashed into the Pumas defense.

In the second half, Fernando Ortiz's men continued to look to open the score, and it was at minute 93 when Monterrey scored the winning goal.

At the start of the second half, Héctor Moreno made a great defensive play at minute 47, when he prevented the ball from entering the goal with a spectacular clearance near the goal line, after a shot by Juan Dinenno from a corner kick.

Esteban Andrada made a magnificent save after a powerful shot by Rodrigo López from outside the box at minute 66.

Rayados U-23 player, César Garza, made his official debut in the First Division when he came on in place of Rodrigo Aguirre at minute 75.

After a delayed cross from Luis Romo, Alfonso González shoot a shot to the left of the rival goalkeeper, to open the score and achieve the victory in Ciudad Universitaria.

With this victory, Rayados reached 20 points and climbed to number 5 in the season standings.
