Rayadas defeated Tigres 3-1 in the 32nd Clasico Regio Femenil played this Friday at the Estadio Universitario.
Matchday 16 of the Apertura 2023 started with intensity and, although Tigres scored the first goal of the match in the first half, the Rayadas reacted and came back in the second half.
Pamela Tajonar made a great save to keep out Stephany Mayor's goal at minute 9, when the Tigres player shot from the edge of the box.
Rebeca Bernal came close to scoring a great goal at minute 24, after the ball was left outside the box following a rebound by the Tigres defense.
Rayadas’ captain took a powerful right-footed shot, but the ball crashed into the outside of the opponent's goal. Close, Rayadas!

After a series of rebounds from a corner kick, Belen Cruz fired in a right-footed shot to open the score.
In the second half, Eva Espejo's team looked to turn the score around, and it was Jermaine Seoposenwe, Chinwendu Ihezuo and Christina Burkenroad who gave the Rayadas the win.

With this victory, the Rayadas reached 35 points and reaffirmed their fourth place in the season standings.
On November 3, at 9:00 p.m., the Rayadas will host América Femenil in Matchday 17 of the Apertura 2023.
