Rayados del Monterrey will host Cruz Azul this Sunday, August 27, at 8:05 p.m. at Estadio BBVA, in their return to Liga BBVA MX after an outstanding performance in the Leagues Cup 2023. 

Rayados is in 7th place in the Season Standings, with 7 points, almost a month and a half after their last match in the League, and a win could put them in third place in the competition. 

In nine matches between the two teams at the Estadio BBVA, Monterrey has four wins and five ties. La Máquina Celeste has never won at the Casa Rayada.

The Rayados team stands out as the best defense in the tournament, with only one goal conceded.

Joao Rojas is Monterrey's goal-scoring leader, with two goals in three matchdays, only two goals behind Harold Preciado, from Santos Laguna, who leads that statistics in the tournament.
