Rayadas defeated Cruz Azul Femenil 3-0 on their visit to the Estadio Azteca as part of matchday 5 of the Apertura 2023 Tournament.
The match began with Rayadas attacking and looking for the opponent's goal and, although the locals had the first dangerous option, the team from Monterrey quickly took the lead.

Rebeca Bernal sent in a long cross that Chinwendu brought down beautifully inside the box to shoot a left-footed cross for the Rayadas' third goal.
In the second half, Rayadas continued to push and create dangerous opportunities, but the scoreboard remained unchanged.
At 75', Myra Delgadillo sent a filtered pass to Daniela Solis, who shot towards the goal, but Alejandra Martinez made a great save to prevent the goal.
Cruz Azul responded at 84', when Erica Gomes sent in a cross that Dalia Molina headed in, but Pamela Tajonar kept the ball.
With this result, the Rayadas reached 13 points and became the general leaders of the competition.
On Thursday, August 17, at 9:10 p.m., they will visit Chivas Femenil in Guadalajara for matchday 6.
